VPS is an award-winning, industry–leading company providing security solutions to the UK vacant property, site security, and traffic management markets.

Role Purpose:

The Field Inspections Manager role is responsible for overseeing a team of inspectors in the South/Southeast carrying out SIA licenced and building fabric inspections. Focus on performance, development and engagement is essential in ensuring the team are successful.

What to expect:

  • To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning, and monitor attendance/timekeeping.
  • Reviewing performance against targets and schedules and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Recruiting, inducting, and training new team members
  • Managing Holiday cover
  • Be responsible for arranging third party supplier cover of expected and unexpected absence
  • Be the primary point of contact for suppliers that cover work in the area
  • Ensuring that all training is conducted, and all records are up to day (job-specific training, health + safety training and TBT’s)

What we are looking for:

  • SIA licence holders – Security guard or Door supervisor essential
  • Good communicator, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer focus
  • Previous experience in mobile patrols, alarm response, property inspections desirable
  • Flexible attitude to working hours
  • Computer literate, experience in Microsoft office programs.
  • Full clean UK driving licence
