Establishment of Agile working within the IT function and business leads, business partnering with the businesses and delivery of their change agenda, to enable benefit realisation. The role is the focal point for all aspects of technology for the aligned business units and will work closely with the relevant IT experts to deliver on commitments. The role exists to partner with and deliver the change agenda for the aligned business unit, to deliver the maximum benefits. The role is the central point of contact within IT for the aligned business unit and will build a strong partnership with the business teams such that IT can be a trusted advisor, and delivery function. The role will drive the transition of the IT function, and adjacent business teams, to work in an agile way starting with a significant programme of change before transitioning other projects, programmes and teams to agile.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong and collaborative relationships with Business Leads and IT peers, serving as an trusted partner to business leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Management of prioritization and governance of aligned business unit change portfolio, programmes and projects
  • Delivery of aligned business unit change portfolio, programmes and projects
  • Agile training and coaching
  • Transition of the IT function to agile methods
  • Engagement of business leads in agile methods
  • Aligned business unit has one point of entry to IT teams
  • Partnership with IT peers to provide technology services to the aligned business unit
  • Support the business leaders in compliance with and alignment to IT policies and procedures, IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture
  • Delivering change within budget and enabling benefit realisation

  • Degree (Preferred)
  • Relevant industry & sector experience
  • Agile accreditation
  • Proven track record of delivery using agile methods
  • Experience of Programme and Portfolio Management
  • IT Operational experience across medium to large scale complex organisations
  • Resource and team management
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organisation

This role will require travel between Norwich and Manchester
