Role Purpose

You will be responsible for carrying out invoicing and assurance duties relating to Sustainable Business, supporting a range of schemes. You will ensure accurate and timely invoicing of jobs and fully evidenced assurance for mitigations and installation works. You will report to the Central Operations Manager.

Working within a small team, you will ensure that your tasks are completed in a timely manner, working to team KPI’s and targets.

This is a role where you will be required to adapt to requirements of a range of contracts, with the ability to work to a high level of accuracy. You will liaise with other contractors, homeowners and the wider Sustainable Business team.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

  • Daily invoicing on a job-by-job basis to set criteria on all Sustainable Business contracts, in compliance to differing rules, processes and requirements across the Business Unit.
  • Responding to and resolving a range of invoicing queries sent by the Evander accounts team in a timely manner, feeding back anomalies to the appropriate Team Leaders.
  • Ensuring receipt of assurance documentation to comply with individual contract requirements from both Evander installations team as well as various subcontractors.
  • Weekly reporting to the Central Operations Manager of invoicing progress on each contract.
  • Maintenance of invoicing console
  • Monthly mitigation report generation and mitigation invoicing
  • Updating accurate records on internal systems

Team members will be multi skilled across many functions within our Sustainable Business department so this role will involve administration duties working to developmental targets, linked to your career development within all aspects of the business.

Experience and Personal Attributes

Essential:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily tasks and good multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent administration skills, with an acute attention to detail.
  • A good grasp of figures and VAT calculations
  • Experience of working within a telephony-based customer focused environment
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills are essential both orally and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a fluctuating workload.
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to use your own initiative.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working on large scale contracts, involving multiple contractors
