Role Purpose

You will be responsible for all planning and scheduling duties relating to Sustainable Business, supporting a range of schemes. You will ensure the timely and efficient scheduling of work across all Sustainable contracts, liaising with several contractors, engineers and the wider Sustainable team, reporting directly to the Central Operations Manager.

Working as part of the wider Sustainable Business Unit, you will ensure that your tasks are completed in a timely manner, in step with the installation works plan, working to team KPI’s and targets.

This is a varied role where you will be required to carry out many tasks to strict timescales with the ability to work to a high level of accuracy. You will liaise with other contractors, homeowners and clients, as well as the Sustainable Field team.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

  • Schedule Evander installations based on Evander resource and requirements, as well as effectively navigating both client and customer needs.
  • Co-ordinate all subcontractor works to support the Evander installation, including but not limited to: Asbestos removal, scaffolding, ventilation, loft insulation and building works.
  • Dealing with customer queries relating to the planned works.
  • Adhering to all client KPIs as well as meeting targets set by the Central Operations Manager.
  • Weekly reporting to the Central Operations Manager of performance against KPI measures set by the Central Operations Manager for all contracts.
  • Ongoing optimisation of the diary to ensure maximum efficiency and smooth running of works.
  • Hotel management for field engineers.
  • Organising fleet servicing, MOT and ad-hoc repairs whilst minimising disruption to the business needs.
  • Forward planning and resolution of logistical issues that may arise that would impact the scheduled works. This includes but is not limited to: ensuring goods have been receipted, managing movement of goods between depots or locations if required, ensuring sub-contractors have appropriately planned in works.
  • Weekly messaging and communication with residents to ensure site is ready for planned works.
  • Weekly management of field packs
  • Weekly meetings with Field Management to overview upcoming works, discussing and resolving any concerns or queries.
  • Effective communication with Field management and engineers.
  • Continuous guidance and communication with office colleagues to ensure sufficient workflow in the appropriate geographical areas.

Team members will be multi skilled across all functions within our Sustainable Business department so this role will involve administration duties working to developmental targets, linked to your career development within all aspects of the business.

Experience and Personal Attributes

Essential:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily tasks and good multi-tasking skills.
  • To have a good understanding of geographical locations within England.
  • Experience of working within a telephony-based customer focused environment
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills are essential both orally and written.
  • Ability to understand the customer’s needs and deliver an individual tailored service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a fluctuating workload.
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to use your own initiative.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
