Role Purpose:

Responsible for establishing a positive customer relationship whilst undertaking all assigned reactive emergency work to secure properties and carry out simple site surveys - accurately assessing damage while specifying and completing documentation in respect of repair, replacement, or repudiation.

What to expect:

  • Meet with customers on-site, explain the role of Evander, the process to be followed and the service standards to be expected
  • Undertake appropriate works to make safe/secure/survey ensuring compliance with operational and legislative procedures and standards
  • Ensure that all commercial processes have been carried out and all the relevant paperwork has been collected from site and that all log on processes have been completed correctly
  • Examine areas of damage and accurately measure, specify work and all parts required for simple surveys and complete as necessary the appropriate documentation
  • Ensure all information is accurately captured on PDA while complying with the correct process
  • Ensure a safety risk assessment is undertaken and recorded appropriately and complete a method statement if required
  • Ensure all paperwork, timesheets, activity sheets are completed in a timely manner
  • Validate each claim ensuring the damage is consistent with the report of loss or repudiate if required
  • Ensure that appropriate photograph(s) are taken of all damage and or all areas of work to be undertaken
  • Discuss requirements and options with the customer before proceeding
  • Ensure the vehicle allocated is kept in a clean and tidy condition and all log on/off procedures are adhered to
  • Work in a safe manner always taking into consideration your colleagues, customers and the public and following all company directions in terms of health and safety updates and toolbox talks

What we are looking for:

  • Valid Driving licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Well presented and business-like
  • Must have a proactive style and be effective working both as a team member and on own initiative
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment when making decisions.

This is a full-time role, hours are 42 per week 4 days on 4 days off 11.30pm until 23.59pm
