Role Purpose

You will be responsible for technical and admin related duties relating to Sustainable Business, supporting a range of schemes to run smoothly. You will ensure accurate and cost effective estimating of works are completed in a timely manner, to deadlines set by the Contract Lead.

Working within a small team, you will ensure that your tasks are completed in a timely manner, in step with the installation works plan, working to team KPI’s and targets.

This is a varied role where you will be required to carry out many tasks to strict timescales with the ability to work to a high level of accuracy. You will liaise with other contractors, homeowners and clients.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

  • Point of contact for customers, clients and subcontractors, providing excellent service at all times.
  • Undertake accurate and timely processing of admin duties relating to survey and installation works. This includes: new instructions, managing completion packs and mitigation evidence in accordance with agreed SLA's, policy and procedures to audit compliance standard.
  • Processing survey details, and contractor quotes to produce both client Technical Investment proposals, and Customer Investment proposals to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Liaising with customers, contractors/contract clients, branches and engineers in respect of works.
  • Updating construction project portal and/or SharePoint with key information and documents
  • Collate and record accurate information on our internal systems.
  • Submit and manage client property approvals
  • Administrative tasks for Fleet management
  • Dealing with urgent client queries or complaints effectively.

Team members will be multi skilled across all functions within our Sustainable Business department so this role will involve administration duties working to developmental targets, linked to your career development within all aspects of the business.

Experience and Personal Attributes

Essential:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily tasks and good multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent administration skills, with an acute attention to detail.
  • Experience of working within a telephony-based customer focused environment
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills are essential both orally and written.
  • Ability to understand the customer’s needs and deliver an individual tailored service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a fluctuating workload.
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to use your own initiative.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
