Role Purpose:

This is an exciting new role for a Trainee Installation Engineer of UPVC & Aluminium Window, Door and Secondary window products in the envronmental sector. You will work with the lead installer ensuring each installation is installed to the highest standard and completed Right First Time. You will demonstrate good technical knowledge and customer skills and must be assist in surveying jobs that you will install as part of the role. You will have use of a company van and be issued a uniform.

  • To assist in installation issues to resolution
  • To manage van stock materials in an economical manner
  • To assist with capturing survey information required to order products for manufacture
  • To work as part of a wider team with office and field staff
  • To support the wider business where required on glazing, window and door works

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 1-year’s experience as a secondary installer or trainee Installer in the domestic Home Improvements sector
  • Experience in the removal and installation of casement windows, Vertical sash windows, composite doors, bifold doors, UPVC & aluminium single and double doors, patio doors and secondary windows
  • Experience in finishing of structural bay windows
  • Experience in the survey of window and door products
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face communicator
  • Previous experience of a large national installation company (Anglian, Everest, First Home improvements, SafeStyle etc.)
  • Conservatory installation/surveying experience
  • Ability to perform UPVC repairs
  • Full UK/EU driving licence
