Kayleigh Playford - National Account Manager

I joined Evander in January 2013 in the middle of a very busy winter period, so from the very beginning I could see how fast paced and diverse the role would be. I spent 18 months in the Pricing and Ordering team understanding the needs of our Insurance clients, before an opportunity came along to work on an exciting project. I worked in this team as Claim Owner, and after showing dedication and hard work for 6 months I was promoted to Team Coach position and then Hub Manager. These promotions were all stepping stones up to my current role as National Account Manager.

The thing I love most about Evander is that you are never short of support, team work really is our motto and if I ever need help there are always volunteers willing to share knowledge and advise in any way possible. I feel like I have learnt so much since I’ve been with the business and I can really say I finish each day with a smile on my face, due to the great team I have around me.

I started with Evander in 2001 in the Customer Service Department. I really enjoy new challenges and over the years I have held a number of roles, ranging from Team Leader to Credit Management, Customer Care Senior and Manager, Customer Relation Contact Centre Manager and I was even seconded into a branch for 9 months.

My current role is to ensure both our customer and colleague experience is where it should be, I get such satisfaction from knowing that by looking after my team I am helping to ensure our customers get looked after well.

I thrive on receiving positive feedback, either from colleagues or customers. This is the sort of work place that makes you want to work hard and every single person in the team supports the goals of the business.
