We employ almost 500 people across the UK, in roles such as security installation, inspections, maintenance, customer services and sales.>

Glen Hughes - Senior Contract Manager
In my current role I am the main point of contact for all our hospitality and retail key customers. My role is to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, making sure all their requirements are met.
I started with the business in 2003 as a Branch Supervisor before working my way up to Branch Manager. VPS understand the importance of job security and will always recognise hard work and dedication, the business are always happy to support training and development to help you grow in your role.

Steve Porter - Head of Security Support Services
When I started with the business in 2003 I was what we then referred to as a Security Fitter. My role was fitting steel security on to vacant property, I worked in a team of 2 who would be out on the road all day attending a variety of properties that required security.
In my time with VPS I have progressed through a number of roles, Service Centre Supervisor, then Service Centre Manager, Contracts Manager and Regional Service Manager, before being offered the role of Operations Manager for our inspections business. I’ve worked hard to get to where I am and am proud that my work has always been recognised by the business. I am passionate about my work because I really love what I do, the company look after me and that really motivates me to do my best. I feel part of a great team and we all feel respected by each other and by the business as a whole.
